Airport Worker Makes Horrific Discovery After Woman Told She Can’t Fly With Pet Dog
An airport worker made a horrific discovery after a woman was told she wasn’t allowed to fly with her pet dog.
Alison Agatha Lawrence, 57, of Florida, reportedly arrived at Orlando International Airport, intending to board a flight to Colombia with her small dog, Tywinn.
However, airline staff informed her that she lacked the proper documentation required for international pet travel.
Instead of making alternate arrangements for her pet, authorities claim Lawrence took a horrifying course of action.

A janitor reported seeing Lawrence inside a restroom stall, appearing to clean up water and dog food from the floor.
Approximately 20 minutes later, the same worker noticed a suspiciously heavy trash bag inside a nearby dumpster.
Upon further inspection, the tragic reality was revealed – Tywinn’s lifeless body lay inside, along with a companion vest, collar, rabies tag, travel bag, and an identification tag bearing Lawrence’s name and phone number.
Authorities say a necropsy confirmed the dog had drowned, according to the Associated Press.
Orlando Police swiftly investigated the case, and a warrant was issued for Lawrence’s arrest.
She was taken into custody at her Clermont home on charges of aggravated animal cruelty, a third-degree felony in Florida.
However, she was released on $5,000 bail just hours after being booked.
Local residents and animal rights activists have since expressed shock and outrage over the incident.

A neighbor of Lawrence, who spoke anonymously, reportedly claimed (per the Daily Star): “Someone who would do such a thing has got to be disturbed upstairs.”
State Senator Tom Leek, who recently introduced a bill aimed at strengthening animal cruelty penalties, cited this case as a prime example of why tougher laws are needed.
“This is yet another horrible example of why I filed this bill,” Leek said. “It is my commitment to have this passed by the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives and sent to Governor Ron DeSantis for his signature.”
Lawrence’s sister told local news outlets that she was unaware of the allegations and claimed that Lawrence did not have a phone, making it difficult to reach her for comment.
This heartbreaking case has reignited discussions about the treatment of animals in travel situations.
Many airlines have strict policies regarding pet transportation to ensure the safety and well-being of animals.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture mandates that dogs traveling internationally must have valid health certificates and rabies vaccinations, requirements that appear to have played a role in this tragic event.
