Amazon Driver Fired After Inappropriate Act On Porch Captured By Camera
An Amazon driver was caught on camera committing an inappropriate act and has since been fired.
Residents of Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, have been stunned and disturbed by the shocking incident.
Tamara Bedoy received far more than anticipated with her Mother’s Day package delivery.
Her husband, who had left early Sunday morning to pick up breakfast, returned to a deeply unpleasant surprise: human feces left on their front steps.
In a video shared with FOX 11, he recounted: “Just right here in front of the garage, just right there on the steps, that’s where it happened. This is where the package was delivered at the top of the stairs. And then she walked over here and threw her napkins over the side.”
Security footage confirmed the delivery driver had defecated right after dropping off the package.
The incident didn’t end there.
According to Bedoy, the same driver repeated the offense about 30 minutes later at another nearby residence.
“It’s really gross, and then to find out a little bit later that she did it again… that’s malicious, personal, disgusting,” she said.
Homeowners in the area have been left feeling anxious and unsettled by the incident.
Signs warning of ‘recording in progress’ were posted prominently outside homes, but that didn’t deter the driver, who was also seen urinating on a lawn shortly after the first incident.
The affected neighbor declined to speak on camera, saying the event was too upsetting to discuss.
The aftermath of the incident has had a lasting impact on the victims.
Bedoy said: “We both couldn’t sleep last night after processing it. I’m like, could she come back? I heard she lost her job. Will she be angry? And now I have to think about these things – and I shouldn’t have to – but I am, honestly.”
In response to the incident, Amazon clarified that the individual was an independent contractor and no longer associated with its deliveries.
The company issued a statement to FOX 11, reading: “We’re deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and apologize to the customers involved.
“We immediately identified the driver, and they are no longer delivering on behalf of Amazon.”
