People have been left horrified after seeing what President Donald Trump has chosen to have displayed outside the Oval Office.

The 45th and 47th president of the United States has certainly made his mark since his inauguration on January 20.

Trump signed an executive order targeting transgender medical care for under 19s, has shared plans to crack down on illegal immigration, and issued numerous controversial pardons.

He’s also appointed the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, as a ‘special government employee,’ with there being plans to drastically overhaul the federal workforce.

Now, Trump is going viral for his bold message outside the Oval Office, which has left many speechless.

Reacting on X (formerly known as Twitter), one person comments: “Such a tasteless move.”

In agreement, a second says: “Appalling!”

“So damn disgusting,” writes someone else.

A fourth remarks: “This is actually sickening.”

Meanwhile, others have taken to the comments and shared they found the move hilarious.

“Self-irony is a positive character trait,” comments one person.

Another adds: “Come on, you have to admit that’s pretty funny.”

New pictures from the White House appear to have revealed that Trump has chosen to frame and hang his mugshot right outside the Oval Office.

It bears an uncanny resemblance to his official portrait, which also shows him scowling with eyebrows raised.

It was first spotted in an image shared by Trump staffer Margo Martin.

The Daily Mail confirmed the image in photos, which were taken by media photographers during a meeting between the U.S. president and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The infamous photo appears to be from the New York Post front page.

The president’s mugshot was taken at Fulton County jail in August 2023 after he surrendered on racketeering and conspiracy charges of being involved in an alleged scheme to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

Trump was released on a $200,000 bail and maintains his innocence.

At a later date, the 78-year-old called the now-paused case a ‘travesty of justice,’ reports The Independent.

The president also politicized the mugshot to boost his campaign, as per Forbes, promoting merchandise such as T-shirts, mugs, and bumper stickers, alongside the phrase: “Never Surrender!”

Trump’s mugshot now ranks as one of the most famous of all time, joining the likes of O. J. Simpson and Khloé Kardashian, who also had run-ins with the law.
