Donald Trump Makes ‘Chilling’ Dictator Announcement
Donald Trump has made a ‘chilling’ dictator claim, leaving some Americans ‘terrified.’
The president has left some U.S. citizens astonished after making an ‘outlandish’ claim about being a dictator.
Trump has fired back at those who have criticized his military takeover of Washington D.C., after the Republican leader claimed that the capital was being run by ‘violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals.’
In a statement, he said: “I’m announcing a historic action to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam, squalor, and worse.
“This is Liberation Day in D.C., and we’re going to take our capital back.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi, who stood beside him during the conference, added: “We are going to use every power we have to fight criminals here.”
But the announcement that followed has left some citizens ‘terrified’ for the future of America.

The President has claimed that U.S. citizens ‘want a dictator’ in power.
Speaking to reporters, he said: “When I see what’s happening to our cities and then I send in troops, instead of being praised, they’re saying you’re trying to take over the Republic.
“These people are sick.
“They say: ‘We don’t need him. Freedom, freedom, he’s a dictator, he’s a dictator.’
“A lot of people are saying, ‘Maybe we like a dictator.'”
Instead of branding himself as one, the president added: “The line is that I’m a dictator, but I stop crime.
“So a lot of people say, ‘You know, if that’s the case, I’d rather have a dictator.'”
“But I’m not a dictator,” he clarified.
And the statement has sent some people into a state of panic.
One said: “Time for national strikes?”
As another said: “When someone says ‘I’m not a dictator’ unprompted… maybe start worrying.”
A third added: “He said ‘I’m not a dictator’ like that’s exactly what a dictator would say.”
“People might admire strong leadership,” one claimed. “But America was built on freedom and democracy – that’s what truly matters.”

But others have argued differently.
One defended the president, and wrote: “Enforcing immigration laws does not make you a dictator.”
As another said: “Despite the accusation, no peer-reviewed evidence confirms Trump has enacted dictatorial policies beyond executive orders.”
A third noted: “He is not a dictator.
“People who criticize him still live and are free to criticize him again and again.”
On August 13, Trump indicated that he planned to extend the initial 30-day takeover of D.C. police, as well as expand the crackdown to other U.S. cities.
He warned: “We’re going to use [D.C.] as a very positive example and we’re going to be asking for extensions on that long-term.
“That’s going to serve as a beacon for New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and other places all over the country.”
