FBI Accused Of ‘Withholding Information’ About Donald Trump Assassination Attempt As Shocking New Details Emerge
The FBI’s investigation into the 2024 Donald Trump assassination attempt is complete – and shocking new details have emerged.
The FBI has reached a major conclusion after completing its investigation into the 2024 assassination attempt against the President.
The public accused the FBI of ‘withholding information’ about 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who opened fire during Trump’s election campaign last July.
The President was hosting a republican rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, when he was shot in the ear and narrowly survived the assassination attempt.
The shock moment was broadcast across the world, and some believe that his survival contributed heavily to him becoming re-elected as the 47th President.
It also prompted one of the largest investigations in FBI history.
The suspect, Crooks, was shot dead at the scene by a Secret Service sniper.

The investigation
Upon investigation, the FBI found that there was a further 22 rounds, multiple magazines, and an undetonated explosive device in his vehicle.
The FBI analyzed foreign and domestic leads, and interviewed more than 1,000 individuals as part of their investigation.
Crook’s body was examined following his death and DNA was collected, before it was released to his family who chose a cremation.
Investigators examined 13 devices belonging to the suspect, they also gained access to 35 digital accounts, and analyzed more than half a million files.
Users online claimed that Crook’s may have had foreign connections, but the FBI have concluded that this is not the case.
What did the FBI conclude?
Speaking to Fox News, they emphasized: “There is no foreign connection in this case.
“There is no individual that is outside U.S. borders or inside U.S. borders that had any role in directing him, inspiring him, or assisting him in any way – and that includes foreign governments.”
There were also theories about a second shooter who was allegedly involved, but the FBI have also shut this down this possibility with their investigation.
Officials said: “There were no phantom rounds. Every single round was accounted for.”
Unlike shootings in the past, Crooks left no note or explanation for his attempt to murder Trump, though he searched for rally details and studied historical assassinations in the lead-up.
The FBI said: “He didn’t give any indication anywhere that he was going to do this or why. Where is the manifesto? The answer is – it doesn’t exist.”

His digital history, focusing on the years of 2019 and 2020, include posts encouraging political violence.
Rumors circulating at the time alleged that Crooks was part of the ‘furry’ community, which the investigation looked into.
Kash Patel, director of the FBI, revealed: “Crooks was on a website and looked at images related to women who work out…a lot.”
He added: “That was his interest, and so we are sharing this with you to show that just because he was on a website that has a voluminous amount of terrible information on it, there is no investigative fact to back up a connection between Thomas Crooks and a portion of the website that had the ‘furry’ on it.”
Throughout their investigation, the FBI was accused of misleading the public.
In response, they have stated: “The FBI can only investigate based on a lawful predicate to open.
“Does the American public really want the FBI scouring social media and content everywhere without a lawful predicate and trampling over First Amendment rights?”

Trump has expressed his trust with the FBI, previously stating: “I have confidence in Kash.”
The FBI has stated that no information was withheld from the public, and that the shooter acted alone.
According to the report, there is no evidence of any coordination, motive, or manifesto behind the failed assassination attempt.
Patel added: “When we came in, our job was to both treat the president as a president the United States and [as] a victim and remind the American public that there were three other victims, and tragically, one person even lost his life.”
Corey Comperatore, 50, was shot dead after diving on members of his family to protect them in the crowd.
