Meghan Markle has sparked outrage with a picture of her daughter, Lilibet.

Markle has sparked fresh controversy after sharing a new video and photo of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Instagram to mark International Day of the Girl.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a heartwarming clip of four-year-old Lilibet running across a lawn at their Montecito home, along with a photo of the two holding hands by a peaceful pond.

As in previous photos, Lilibet’s face was not shown, and only her distinctive wavy red hair was visible.

While many fans praised the post as sweet and empowering, critics quickly accused Meghan of contradicting her long-standing stance on privacy for her children.

Some questioned why she continues to speak publicly about media intrusion and the importance of protecting her children while also sharing glimpses of them online.

“I thought she wanted privacy? Yet she keeps posting these carefully staged pictures,” one critic wrote online.

Others called the post ‘attention-seeking’ and accused Meghan of ‘teasing the public for engagement.’

“This is all about Megan,” one user wrote. “She really doesn’t give a d*** about her children. She gets off on hanging their toes over the balcony… but using them for her own gain all the same. Disgusting.”

However, supporters jumped to her defense, arguing that Meghan has every right to share controlled images of her children without revealing their identities.

Fans pointed out that the Duchess never shows her children’s faces and only posts content on her own terms, unlike paparazzi intrusion, which she and Prince Harry have repeatedly condemned.

“Sharing a picture of your child that you choose to post is not the same as having their privacy invaded,” one supporter commented. “She’s setting boundaries, not breaking them.”

This latest backlash follows similar outrage earlier this month, when Meghan shared a birthday photo of Archie and Lilibet at Disneyland.

That image caused chaos online, with some critics even accusing Meghan of using filters to enhance the children’s red hair.

Others questioned why the children’s hair appeared different shades in different photos, sparking a bizarre debate over genetics.

Despite the ongoing online hostility, Meghan appears determined to continue sharing selective family moments.

In a recent speech at the Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York, she addressed the importance of responsible parenting in the digital age.

“Our children Archie and Lili are still too young for social media,” she said, per Royal Insider. “But like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technology’s benefits while safeguarding against the dangers.”

Whether admired or criticized, Meghan Markle remains one of the most polarizing public figures in the world.

And one thing is certain: every glimpse of Lilibet and Archie guarantees a worldwide reaction.
