Prince Harry Breaks Silence On Claim He Punched Prince Andrew Over Brutal Meghan Markle Comments
Prince Harry has released a statement following claims that he punched his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew, over comments about Meghan Markle.
A new royal biography titled ‘The Rise and Fall of the House of York’ has made numerous bold claims about the family’s dynamic behind closed doors.
One claim, however, has gained more attention than any other made in the book.
The biography is primarily about the downfall of Andrew – who has long been accused of s** scandals and the abuse of minors.
But other, more senior, members of the family were also mentioned in the book.
An alleged altercation between Prince Harry and Prince Andrew is detailed in the royal biography, which, author Andrew Lownie claims, got physical.
It concerns a supposed family gathering which happened over 10 years ago, at which the Yorks were present alongside their nephew.

But some dates just aren’t adding up, given the altercation allegedly took place more than a decade ago, and Markle and Prince Harry didn’t go public with their relationship until 2016.
Alas, according to journalists at the Daily Mail, who reportedly obtained an excerpt of the biography, Prince Andrew, now 74, became involved in a ‘heated argument’ with Prince Harry.
It reportedly stemmed from ‘something Andrew said behind Harry’s back,’ involving his now-wife Markle.
Lownie writes that the row resulted in ‘punches’ being ‘thrown’ by the now 40-year-old Prince, leaving Prince Andrew with a bloody nose.
Prince Andrew allegedly claimed that the couple’s relationship ‘wouldn’t last,’ given that Markle is, in his opinion, an ‘opportunist.’
But Prince Harry’s legal team has since responded to the damaging allegations made in the biography.

Clearing up the rumors, the statement given to People magazine reads: “Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”
His team added that legal action is reportedly underway to tackle a number of the claims made in Lownie’s book, not just this one.
It continued: “Such are the gross inaccuracies, damaging and defamatory remarks made in the story.”
One year after going public with their relationship, Markle and Prince Harry revealed in 2017 that they were engaged.
But just two years after their lavish royal wedding in 2018, the pair decided to step down as senior members of the firm.
Their announcement read at the time: “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.
“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
