White House Issues Shock Update On ICE Agent Who Fatally Shot Renee Good
The White House has issued a shocking update on ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who fatally shot Renee Good on January 7.
More details are emerging following the fatal incident involving the ICE Deportation Officer, and the mom-of-three who was shot dead behind the wheel of her SUV.
Good’s family has since spoken out following their heartbreaking loss, describing the award-winning poet as ‘loving, forgiving, and affectionate.’

It’s been reported that Ross, 43, has served as an immigration officer in the US for more than 10 years, having been trained in the special response team.
He was one of 2,000 agents who were deployed to Minneapolis and surrounding areas, as part of the Trump Administration’s plan to crackdown on illegal immigration across America.
‘He deserves a debt of gratitude’
Following the fatal attack, Donald Trump and his cabinet have praised the immigration officer for simply ‘doing his job.’
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that the day of the shooting, Ross had just followed his training.
Vice President JD Vance went further, claiming that Good’s behavior was an ‘act of domestic terrorism.’
He added that her death was a ‘tragedy of her own making.’

Speaking of Ross during a conference, he said: “This is a guy who’s actually done a very, very important job for the United States of America.
“He’s been assaulted, he’s been attacked, he’s been injured because of it.
“He deserves a debt of gratitude.”
ICE agent Jonathan Ross’ father breaks silence
Following the fatal incident, his father has issued a statement.
Speaking to The Independent, he said: “You would never find a nicer, kinder person.
“He’s a committed, conservative Christian, a tremendous father, a tremendous husband. I couldn’t be more proud of him.”
Will Ross face criminal charges?
It’s been confirmed by the Vice President that Ross is protected by ‘absolute immunity,’ and will therefore not face criminal prosecution, despite killing Good with two consecutive gunshots.
Vance said: “That guy is protected by absolute immunity. He was doing his job.”
The agent’s father, Ed, 80, also added: “She hit him. He will not be charged with anything.”
While many Republicans believe that Good intended to run the officer over before being fatally shot, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has taken a very different stance.

Walz claimed that the fatal shooting was ‘totally predictable,’ and is disappointed by the response to Good’s death from the Trump administration.
He said: “This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying.
“It was totally avoidable.”
Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Frey, also saw things very differently.
Speaking to USA Today, he said: “They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense.
“Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly, that is bulls***.”
Footage of the fatal attack has circulated
Chilling footage of the moments leading up to the shooting have circulated on social media.
And despite Ross appearing not to be critically injured in the clip, authorities have now issued a shocking update.
Just yesterday (January 14), after learning of the bombshell update, Vance wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “While much of left has lied about this case, it turns out ramming a law enforcement officer with a car causes injuries. Who knew!”

The shocking update
The Trump administration has now reported that Ross, 43, endured ‘internal bleeding’ the his torso following the incident, reports CBS.
While trying to drive away from the hostile situation, Good seemingly hit Ross, whether accidentally or not, causing injuries that required immediate medical care.
Noem reported that he was taken to the hospital afterwards, and that the extent of his condition remains unclear.
The Cleveland Clinic states: “Internal bleeding happens when your blood vessels break and blood collects inside your body.
“There are several causes of internal bleeding that range in severity.”
Symptoms include lightheadedness, shortness of breath, and fatigue.
Issuing an update beyond her initial statement, Noem added: “He went to the hospital, a doctor did treat him, he has been released, but he’s gonna spend some time with his family.”
