Model and influencer Niece Waidhofer has tragically died, aged 31 years old.
TMZ claim that Waidhofer’s family have said that she ‘took her own life after a long battle with mental health issues’.
Reportedly, she was discovered by the police after a concerned loved one requested for a welfare check to be made.

In a statement, her family reportedly said: “She was very open with her followers about her struggles, even wanting to help followers who also suffered.”
Continuing, they added: “Niece was more than her struggles. She was beautiful and kind, sensitive and funny, creative and talented, generous and compassionate, thoughtful and challenging.
“While it is so very painful to say goodbye, we take comfort knowing she is reunited with her father, her three grandparents, her Uncle Rusty, and her beloved Puff; and that she is now free to be herself and, finally, at peace.”
Waidhofer’s family has reportedly made a fundraiser in her honour, titled Piece from Niece. Apparently, it will promote mental health awareness, while also funding research.
When announcing the tragedy, her loved ones are believed to have remarked on the model, and the pride she put into her Instagram posts and photos.
However, the influencer – who had a whopping 4.2million followers – removed the majority of her images weeks before her devastating death.
On other platforms, Waidhother has received a ton of tributes from heartbroken fans.
One tweeted: “That is so so sad. My condolences go out to her family.”
“Very heartbreaking,” a second penned. “Prayers for her and her family.”
“The strong ones who offer to help and advise also need help and advice. Life is happening to everyone. Rest in peace,” another wrote.
