Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in an R-rated comedy film about seducing an ‘unf***able’ teenager.

Lawrence, 32, is best known for playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies and Mystique in X-Men.

The Joy star was reportedly the highest-paid actress in the world back in 2015 and 2016.

While in 2014, Lawrence was crowned the ‘sexiest woman in the world’ – which surely comes in handy when it comes to the powers of seduction.

Lawrence will play Maddie in the movie No Hard Feelings, which follows a young woman who finds herself carless after an acrimonious breakup with her boyfriend.

With no money, no car and being close to losing her childhood home, Maddie answers a couple’s unusual request on Craigslist.

The ad asks for someone to bonk their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, in the hope of making him more sociable before he heads off to college.

Thinking that there’ll be no hardship and that the parents will be offering her a car in return, Maddie obliges – which is when things get seriously awkward.

For all of her s**iest, seductive efforts, Percy always seems less than interested in her advances.

Maddie even tells her friends that she thinks Percy is actually ‘unf***able’.

And from what’s shown in the trailer, Maddie’s ego isn’t the only thing that ends up hurt.

In one scene, Percy thinks she’s kidnapping him, rather than seducing him, which leads to him pepper-spraying her.

Later, he inadvertently punches Maddie in the throat while trying to defend her, but badly misjudges his punch.

The trailer is going viral on social media since dropping, with many viewers saying it’s ‘exactly what’s needed’ in the film industry.

One person writes: “Finally a movie with Jennifer Lawrence on the big screen where she belongs and finally she has a comedy movie… I’m gonna watch this for sure.”

Another adds: “I’m so genuinely surprised and happy by how unexpectedly good this looks.”

Somebody else comments: “FINALLY!!!! Exactly what we need. JLaw in a COMEDY!!!!!!!!”

While a fourth person says: “Raunchy comedy is back. And never been funnier. Make Jlaw box office again, guys.”

This is Lawrence’s first comedy film since the critically acclaimed Don’t Look Up – in which she co-starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

Moss-Bachrach tells Awards Radar: “I think Jennifer Lawrence is really goofy in this movie, in a way that she hasn’t been in the past.

“The movie reminds me of some ‘90s comedies I really used to like. I don’t want to misrepresent the movie, but there were elements which reminded me of the Farrelly brothers or Something About Mary.

“There’s a decent amount of physical comedy, and Jennifer Lawrence is very committed to it. It was a very funny set.”

No Hard Feelings will first land in cinemas on 23 June.
