Noah Schnapp has responded to the backlash Doja Cat is facing after he shared their private DMs last week.

The 17-year-old took to TikTok and revealed that he and the rapper have cleared the air in a clip featuring her song ‘Kiss Me More’.

In the comments section, he wrote: “Guys, everything is all good I apologised and I still follow her and love her music. No hard feelings.”

It all started between the two when he told his followers that the 26-year-old had privately messaged him about his Stranger Things co-star, Joseph Quinn.

She said: “Noah can you tell Joseph to [hit me up]. Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?”

In response, Schnapp told her to find Quinn’s Instagram or Twitter, to which the singer responded: “I don’t know his IG or Twitter. He doesn’t have a DM to slide in.”

After sending her a link, the young actor took to TikTok and posted a now-deleted video of the exchange.

When Doja Cat found out about this, she took to social media and slammed him.

She said: “The fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack.

“That’s like borderline snake shit, that’s like weasel shit. And I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality – like, I don’t imagine Noah that way.”

However, she went on to add that Schnapp’s ‘just a kid’.

After seeing Doja Cat’s response, many people took to Twitter and told her she didn’t handle it in the best way.

It was then reported by the social media statistics page Social Blade that she’d lost ‘more than 200,000 followers on Instagram‘ around the time of the drama.
