Ozzy Osbourne has issued a sad update amid his ongoing health battles.

Last year, the 75-year-old rock legend devastated fans when he announced his retirement from touring.

The Black Sabbath singer revealed that while his ‘singing voice is fine,’ he had no choice but to finish his performing days due to his ‘physically weak’ body.

“I am honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time,” Osbourne said at the time, “but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I’m not physically capable… as I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required.”

Now, the ‘Crazy Train’ singer has shared another concerning admission with fans.

Lately, Osbourne has become incredibly candid regarding his health journey.

The musician was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, per the BBC, publically announcing the condition in 2020.

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive brain disorder that causes movement problems, and mental health issues, among other health concerns.

Osbourne told The Guardian in 2022: “You think you’re lifting your feet, but your foot doesn’t move. I feel like I’m walking around in lead boots.”

In the same interview, he also opened up about the major surgery he underwent to remove and realign pins in his neck and back.

Although it was a success, the singer experienced ‘agony’ during this time.

“It got so bad that at one point I thought: ‘Oh God, please don’t let me wake up tomorrow morning,'” Osbourne recounted.

The singer’s ongoing health issues have also postponed his plans to relocate back to England.

Osbourne told The Guardian in 2022 that he thinks everything in America is ‘f***ing ridiculous,’ adding: “I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f***ing Forest Lawn (Cemetery). I’m English. I want to be back.”

Despite announcing these plans two years ago, Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, have yet to return to Britain permanently.

In an episode of The Osbournes podcast, a fan queried their plans, to which Sharon responded: “It just seems that every time we’re set to go, something happens with Ozzy’s health.

“We’ll get there. We wanna go back so bad, but we’ll get there. Won’t we, Ozzy?”

The ‘Prince of Darkness’ replied: “Yeah, we will.”

Osbourne has spoken of his health woes in further detail on his other podcast, Madhouse Chronicles.

The singer, who has previously struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, announced that he isn’t completely sober as he uses weed ‘from time to time.’

He revealed that Sharon constantly motivates him to keep away from old habits, however, cannabis has returned to his life.

“I am lucky my wife kicks my butt all the time and she would make life so difficult,” Osbourne said. “Even with marijuana she will f***ing find it and get rid of it.”

Cannabis products with THC can cause changes in a person’s mood, thoughts, and perceptions of reality, while also causing harmful effects on the brain and other parts of the body, per the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Elsewhere on the podcast, the ‘No More Tears’ artist stressed that he doesn’t want anyone to go down the same path he did with drugs and alcohol.

He also questioned whether he had made the right decision when he stopped attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

“AA is a 12-step program. It got me sorted out to a certain degree. I do not go to meetings myself anymore. Maybe I should do, I don’t know,” he said.
