Parents are transforming their old, forgotten trampolines into super cosy summer dens that are perfect to chill in and possibly catch a tan in too!
Parents, don’t throw away the trampolines that have been left abandoned in your gardens by the kids. It’s time to turn the trampolines into a blissful spot in your garden where you can sit and relax.
One DIY fan posted to Facebook: “Don’t throw away your old trampoline, it can always serve – beautiful space for this summer”.
To make yours a magical place at the end of your garden, all you’ll need is some old curtains, some battery-powered fairy lights to add to the top railing and throws. With all this, it should be pretty stylish.
The chic new trampoline can be used for kids’ sleepovers, a seating area for mum and dad to enjoy a glass of wine on a warm summer’s evening or you can even turn it upside down, as one chap did.
One dad shared his version of a trampoline den which he flipped the other way, he then attached fairy lights to the ‘roof’, which made it perfect to have a dance under.
Immediately, parents went wild over this clever idea and it has since racked up over 8,300 comments and 1,500 shares.
One person tagged their friends and family, commenting: “Project for you.”
Another said: “If you get bored in lockdown.”
Whilst one impressed mum said it was the “best den ever” and couldn’t believe someone had thought of it.
One third raved: “Look at this good idea for the kids when weather picks up again new camp hideout for a night if this lockdown continues”.
