Paris Hilton Slams Britney Spears Conspiracy Theory Over Photo

Paris Hilton has slammed a ‘ridiculous’ Britney Spears conspiracy theory after she posted a photo of the pair.

The Simple Life star, 41, and the ‘Toxic’ singer, 41, have a friendship that has spanned two decades.

Hilton was one of the few people invited to Spears’ intimate wedding ceremony last summer, and she’s also been a longtime supporter of the #FreeBritney movement.

Recently, the reality TV star has been forced to hit back at trolls after uploading a photo of the pair on Instagram.

Hilton took to the social media platform on January 6 and shared a number of snaps from her friend Cade Hudson’s birthday, who is also Spears’ talent agent.

One of the images was a selfie of the three of them. However, Hilton didn’t specify whether Spears was at the party or not.

After seeing this photo, people have taken to the comments and accused Hilton of photoshopping the ‘Womanizer’ artist into it.

One person questioned: “Why are you using an AI of Britney? If you’re her friend why can’t you use the real her.”

Another asked: “Is that an AI Britney?”

While a third insisted: “That is not Britney.”

Others took to the comments section and said that Spears’ necklace in the photo looked odd, with one fan writing: “It’s really strange how half the necklace chains are missing in the photo with Britney.

“And what’s wrong with her fingers?”

Someone else agreed, adding: “Wtf where is the other half of Brit’s necklace chain? Not to mention her fingers, what’s wrong with them?”

Following the backlash, the hotel heiress took to the comments and addressed the image and the conspiracy theories floating around the internet.

In a now-deleted comment, Hilton wrote: “To all of those asking. Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone so they ended up being blurry.

“So they used this app called Remini to make it look unblurry and sometimes the AI distorts images.

“Didn’t want to even dignify this with a response. But some of these conspiracy theories are absolutely ridiculous.”

According to TMZ, both Spears and Hilton were at Hudson’s A-list birthday party, which apparently featured the likes of Robert Pattinson, Emma Roberts, and Demi Lovato.
