Rick Harrison’s son’s cause of death has officially been confirmed.
Harrison, 58, owns the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Pawn Stars is set.
The reality TV series follows the daily activities of the store and the array of characters that enter its doors.
It’s broadcast in over 150 countries and has become one of History’s highest-rated programmes.
The show’s fans were left devastated last week when it was announced that Harrison’s son, Adam, had passed away.
Now, further information on his death has been disclosed.

Adam is one of Harrison’s three children – who are all boys – and unlike most of the family, he seemingly never appeared on Pawn Stars.
At some point it’s believed he helped out with the store, however, he ended up stepping away.
While little was known about his personal life, TMZ reported that Adam may have made some kind of living in a type of trade, as claimed by some.
On January 19, Harrison’s representative, Laura Herlovich, informed the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the 39-year-old had been discovered on Friday.
“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” she stated on behalf of his family.
Through a representative, Harrison has spoken out to TMZ, disclosing Adam’s cause of death.
It’s been revealed that the 39-year-old died from a fentanyl overdose.
“The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously,” Harrison commented.
Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid drug which is similar to morphine but 50 to 100 times more potent, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
Synthetic opioids, including fentanyl, have become one of the most common drugs involved in drug overdose deaths in the US.

Following the tragic announcement that Adam had passed away, Harrison took to Instagram and shared an emotional tribute to his son.
He penned: “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam,” alongside a broken love heart emoji.
Many have taken to social media and also paid tribute, with one writing: “Sorry to hear about this, Rick… Sending prayers.”
Another says: “I am so incredibly sorry. God bless you and your family.
“I know you don’t know anyone here in these comments and it doesn’t really matter, but there’s an entire legion of people that have been impacted by your family and those close to you, Adam included. I hope you guys can find solace in this time.”
“Many love and loads of prayers for you and your family,” somebody else comments. “Hope is just around the corner [and] he will never be forgotten, and always shine a light upon him.”
