People Have Been Left Confused Over ‘Skinny’ House Which Is Up For Sale

A house has recently gone up for sale in the US but people have been left mind boggled over a video of it which has been shared onto social media, as people have been branding it a “skinny” house.

TikTok user @eli.korn_ has recently given a tour of a house which is up for sale in Illinois, as it’s not exactly your run-of-the-mill home due to its extremely narrow setup.

The young man posted a video of himself onto TikTok in which he is stood outside the incredibly narrow house, showing how bizarre its architecture truly is.

The video, which has been liked over 322,000 times, has left people scratching their heads at how the house can be practical when it’s so “skinny”.

One person commented on the post: “This has deeply upset me.”

Another wrote: “That’s not a house, that’s a hallway.”

Whilst a third asked: “How does someone live there?”

The house, which is actually titled the ‘Pie House’, is actually not as tiny as it first appears. Basically, whilst one side of the house appears to be narrow, once you travel over to the other side it becomes gradually wider.

Currently, the property is up for sale at the price of $269,000 (£206,232) and according to the local estate agent, it’s become somewhat of a local celebrity.

The advert says: “You can now own Deerfield’s famous ‘Pie House’!

“This iconic home is larger than [it] appears, with over 1600 square feet of living space including the finished basement. Good natural light with lots of character. This one bedroom (plus one in the basement), two and [a] half bath home has plenty to offer! Open floor plan on main level with hardwood floors.”
