The 2011 movie has an all-star cast, including Justin Timberlake, Cillian Murphy, Olivia Wilde, and Amanda Seyfried.
The unique plot of the movie, which was written and directed by Andrew Niccol, revolves around time being a currency and people stopping ageing after 25, meaning that the rich live for long, while the poor die young.

Will Salas (Timberlake) is someone who doesn’t have a lot of time left and is on the brink of death.
However, after getting rewarded with over 100 years, he makes the most of his life and forms an alliance with a powerful man’s daughter (Seyfried) as they aim to bring down the rich and the corrupt.
The film was made on a budget of $40 million and ended up grossing a whopping $174 million.
Upon its release, it was met with mixed reviews, with most critics praising the concept and story, but being unimpressed with the writing.
Despite it not receiving the ravest of reviews, fans are still commenting on the movie and insisting that it has predicted modern society.
Fans are also saying how the film correctly predicted the rise and importance of digital currency.
