A PR expert has explained how Johnny Depp could ‘revive his career’ after the Amber Heard defamation trial.
Crisis public relations expert and founder of HeraldPR, Juda Engelmayer, has claimed that the actor may find himself being offered a ‘different’ type of role when the high-profile case comes to an end.
He told Insider: “I don’t think it’ll be family-friendly. I think his role will be different.

“He’ll be cast in independent films or films where he is maybe the bad guy, a criminal, a mobster. Someone who at first is not a likeable guy, not a fun guy, but someone who’s the bad guy.”
Other anonymous sources have reportedly told the news outlet that Depp has been determined to get ‘his story out,’ which is why the trial is being livestreamed.
The insider apparently said: “He’s already lost his career. He’s lost his reputation. And no matter what happens in this trial, there are going to be people who will always think that he’s a wife-beater.
“So I think that informed his thinking here. Maybe he loses, but this is a way at least he gets his story out.”
Recently in the trial, Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, has shared the alleged reason the actor ‘won’t make eye contact with his ex-wife’.
When questioning Heard, the attorney asked: “He won’t look at you, right?”
Replying, the mum-of-one claimed: “He can’t.”

Vasquez continued, stating: “You know exactly why Mr Depp won’t look at you. He promised you he would never see your eyes again, is that true?”
In response, the actress alleged: “I don’t recall that.”
A 2016 audio recording was then played in the courtroom, which apparently took place in San Francisco.
It’s believed that at some point in the tape, Heard requests Depp hug her, which he denies.
She is then heard saying: “Please I just want to hug you and say bye.”
At this point in the recording, Depp refused, stating: “I am nothing to you, and I will always be nothing to you.
“You will not see my eyes again.”
