Presenter Mike Graham, who hosts TalkRadio, stopped an Insulate Britain interview after saying ‘you can grow concrete’.

The bizarre claim was made on the show when the British journalist asked activist Cameron Ford what he does for a living.

The man responded by saying he is a carpenter, to which Graham asked: “How safe is that for the environment?”

Defending himself, the protestor argued that he works with timber, which is more sustainable than concrete.

To which Graham replied: “But you work with trees that are being cut down, don’t you?”

The 61-year-old then claimed that Ford couldn’t be acting sustainably, as he is ‘killing trees’.

Not amused by the remark, the Insulate Britain member pointed out that trees are ‘regenerative, you can grow trees’. He then added: “You can’t grow concrete.”

Graham replied: “Yeah, you can.”

Following this, there was a moment of silence before the presenter stated they would be ending the interview there.

“Cheerio… I don’t think I ever want to talk to those people,” he said.

The interview has since gone viral and many people have taken to social media and mocked him.

One person tweeted: “Mike Graham claims that concrete grows on trees then ends the interview thinking he’s embarrassed the other guy. Glorious stuff this. One of the all time greats of the genre.”

Another joked: “Just come to the startling conclusion that Mike Graham clearly thought that a concrete jungle was a real thing.”

“Okay, I’m done,” a third penned. “I’m going to set up my own concrete farm.”
