Kids are storming supermarkets and leaving shelves empty as they try and get their hands on Prime Energy Drink.

The beverage, which was created by Logan Paul and KSI, was released in the UK in June 2022.

Since landing on shelves, it has become one of the most sought-after products out right now.

It’s in so much demand, youngsters are storming supermarkets as soon as they open first thing in the morning.

The drink costs £2 but people are bulk buying and then selling them online, with some bottles going as much as £1,000.

People are also selling empty bottles online too for much more than their retail price.

A member of staff from Asda in Dorset spoke to The Sun about the store being raided in search of the drink.

They said: “We finally had a fresh delivery and there were about thirty kids outside before we had opened.

“At 9.30am we had a member of security outside trying to keep it all under control. As soon as the doors opened they sprinted for the energy drink aisle.

“It was chaos, they cleared the shelves within minutes and were pushing and shoving each other to get their hands on some.”

Some people who waited for the drink, unfortunately, missed out on a bottle as others have been buying so many at once.

One customer told The Sun: “I was really looking forward to getting some Prime, I was looking forward to it all day. I’ll keep trying to get some.”

KSI and Paul can now add business entrepreneurs to their CVs, along with YouTubers, influencers, boxers, musicians, and a WWE Superstar (Paul).

Having previously been rivals and had two boxing matches (the first fight was a draw and KSI won the second fight), the pair teased a big announcement earlier this year.

Many fans thought it would be a third bout between the pair.

However, they announced Prime Energy Drink.

On the product’s website, KSI and Paul wrote to fans: “Our goal was to create a fantastic hydration drink that can fuel any lifestyle.

“Over the past year, we’ve worked countless hours to formulate the product from scratch, lock in deals with the largest retailers in the world, and build a multi-hundred-person team to get our products to the shelves.

“We’re humbled by the process of creating a real brand & look forward to competing with some of the biggest beverage companies in the world.

“As underdogs, we always cherish the opportunity to show the world what’s possible.

“Now that we’re both fighting for the same team, we truly believe the sky is the limit.”

Prime Energy Drink has also become the official drink sponsor for Arsenal Football Club, which is the team KSI supports.

Due to the high demand for Prime Energy Drink, some shops have imposed limits on the number of bottles you can buy at once.

A spokesperson for Asda said: “Prime is available in all of our larger superstores and we are pleased that customers are enjoying it.

“We know how popular this product is and we would like to assure customers that our stores are regularly receiving stock.”
