Prince Harry has revealed that he feared ‘history repeating itself,’ in a reference to his mother’s death, in the trailer for his upcoming tell-all Oprah Winfrey interview with Meghan Markle.
In the clip, The Duke of Sussex says he’s ‘really relieved’ to have his wife by his side after going through an ‘unbelievably tough’ time.
He tells Oprah: “I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side.

“Because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her [Princess Diana] going through this process by herself all those years ago, because it’s been unbelievably tough for the two of us.
“But at least we have each other.”
He adds: “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
Harry and Meghan confirmed they were officially stepping back from their roles as senior royals earlier this year after ‘many months of reflection and internal discussions’.
Opening up during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show, Harry told James Cordon it was down to the ruthless tabloid coverage which started taking a toll on him mentally.
He said: “We all know what the British press can be like, and it was destroying my mental health.
“I was like, this is toxic.
“I did what any husband, what any father would do.
“It’s like: ‘I need to get my family out of here.’ But we never walked away. I will never walk away. I will always be contributing.”
Harry and Meghan are expected to touch on this subject in even more detail during their sit-down chat with Oprah which will air on March 7.
