Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who will reportedly ‘refuse to bow or curtsy‘ to Camilla when she receives her new title, are supposedly ‘planning to become part-time Royals’.

Royal author Tom Quinn has claimed that an insider has said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may ‘come back’ when elder family members have passed on, as they’ll then be given more freedom in splitting their lives between the US and the UK.

On the Di For Daily podcast, he reportedly said: “One interesting thing an insider told me… is that both Meghan and Harry believe that when the elder Royals die – in other words, Elizabeth – they may well be able when Charles is King, be able to come back and be the part-time Royals that they really wanted to be.

“So that they would be six months [as] working Royals and six months in the States or wherever doing their own thing.

“That was something that Queen Elizabeth absolutely said couldn’t happen, but I think Meghan and Harry are hoping that Charles, Harry’s father, after all, will be more of a moderniser and will say to them, ‘Okay, if you want to be part-time Royals, that’s fine’.

“I don’t think Harry and Meghan really want to spend their whole time in the States and not be part of the Royal Family, they just don’t want to do it all the time.”

Prince Harry Reportedly ‘Blames Camilla For Mental Health Struggles’

However, this claim has been branded as absolute ‘tosh’ by Royal expert Dickie Arbiter.

Taking to Twitter, he fumed: “What tosh!!! Fly a kite and after it flutters for a while it comes crashing down.”

Last year, a statement was reportedly released by Buckingham Palace in which it was stated that the Duke and Duchess would ‘not continue their responsibilities and duties’.

It apparently read: “The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”
