Prince Harry has claimed that his brother Prince William physically attacked him in a fight over Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped away from the royal family in early 2020 and ever since, they’ve been outspoken about the institution and their lives within it.
Most recently, they dropped an explosive six-part Netflix documentary titled Harry & Meghan.
And now, ahead of the release of Prince Harry’s highly-anticipated memoir, ‘Spare’, the Duke has made an astonishing allegation regarding his alleged feud with Prince William, 40.

The Guardian has reportedly managed to get its hand on an early copy of the bombshell book, and it apparently details a confrontation Prince Harry, 38, had with his older brother.
The alleged incident is believed to have taken place at Prince Harry’s home in London, where Prince William apparently called Markle, 41, ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’.
Prince Harry is said to have criticised the Prince of Wales for ‘parroting the press narrative’ that has portrayed his wife – and mother of his two young children – in a negative light.
The Duke reportedly goes on to say that the pair got into a shouting match before he accused Prince William of ‘acting like an heir’ to the throne as opposed to his brother.

The title of Prince Harry’s memoir, ‘Spare’, is seemingly a reference to his issues with the truth in an old saying, ‘heir and a spare’ – meaning the firstborn is guaranteed ‘power and fortune’ while the following siblings become ‘spares’.
Prince Harry allegedly writes that his brother said he was only trying to help, to which he replied: “Are you serious? Help me? Sorry – is that what you call this? Helping me?”
He reportedly says that the pair then moved into the kitchen and he gave Prince William a glass of water while noting that he can’t speak to his brother when he’s angry.
Prince Harry allegedly recalls: “He set down the water. Called me another name, then came at me.
“It all happened so fast. So very fast.”
He reportedly continues: “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.
“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.
“I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Prince Harry reportedly claims the fight left him with ‘scrapes and bruises’ on his back – and when Markle saw them she was ‘terribly sad’, not angry or shocked.
The revelation – which is unlikely to be the only one within the pages of the soon-to-be-released memoir – won’t help Prince Harry mend his badly damaged relationship with the royal family.
Prince Harry recently spoke of his desperation in terms of mending ties with his family, telling ITV: “I would like to get my father [King Charles] back, I would like to have my brother back.”
