Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly giving up their ‘dream’ for George, Charlotte and Louis.

According to royal expert Omid Scobie, a source has said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have come to the conclusion that they can’t live in London with their three children, reports Yahoo Life.

After spending years at Kensington Palace, it’s been reported that the couple is looking at moving homes.

“They thought about moving to Norfolk, but as active senior working royals they could never be that far away from London, so that’s where Windsor came into the picture,” the source reportedly said.

It’s believed the Windsor property will be much safer for the family, as there’s plenty of land to roam, with security on site.

A source reportedly told The Sun: “I think Wills and Kate need space to bring up their children. Kensington Palace is a glorious prison for kids… they want to be able to play football without being watched from behind the gates.”

As well as moving home, Prince William and Middleton are believed to be sacrificing some of their live-in staff.

Reportedly, the couple’s full-time nanny, Maria Borallo, and their chef and housekeeper, will be given private accommodation which will be paid for by the Cambridges.

Although the couple is giving up their home at Kensington Palace, there’s no concern that it won’t be theirs anymore.

Reportedly, the property will be used as the family’s London base and once the children grow up, it’s believed they’ll all move back there.

“Apartment 1A will always be their official residence,” a palace source reportedly said.
