Princess Charlotte’s ‘extravagant’ present for her 7th birthday has been revealed.
The insider reportedly told the news outlet: “The gift Charlotte wanted more than anything was a pony. She has been taking horse riding lessons for over a year and is obsessed.

“William and Kate know that her passion for riding isn’t a [phase] and finally agreed to buy her one.”
Reportedly, Princess Charlotte – whose birthday is May 2 – had two parties to celebrate the special day.

To start off the celebration, her parents apparently held an event at their Norfolk country home, and family and friends came along. It’s believed the property was decorated with balloons and there was a unicorn cake.
The source claimed: “Kate made all the food herself – mini pizzas, burgers, sausage rolls, hot dogs, fruit wands, sandwiches, multi-coloured cupcakes and ice cream for everyone to tuck into.”
The second party was supposedly at Kensington Palace and involved the little girl’s classmates.
“It was the first birthday party Charlotte has had with all her friends,” the insider claimed. “She’s such a popular little girl and loved every minute of being centre of attention.”
The source apparently went on to say that Princess Charlotte is a ‘hard worker’ and that one of [her] biggest interests is ‘languages’, adding: “She’s already well ahead of schedule and dipping in and out of a number of languages, though Spanish is her favourite.”
After the celebrations came to an end, Prince William and Middleton took to Instagram and shared some photos from the occasion.
