Princess Charlotte has a ‘non-royal‘ name that she uses at school so that she feels ‘normal’ and doesn’t stand out from the crowd, according to reports.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, whose official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, will be starting Year 2 this September and her parents want everything to go as smoothly as possible.
To make this happen, they’ve reportedly suggested that she goes by the name Charlotte Cambridge.

Two years ago, Charlotte’s mum, Kate Middleton, was heard referring to her only daughter as ‘Lottie’.
This came out during an official trip to Northern Ireland in 2019 when the mother-of-three began chatting to a fellow parent.
The other mum took to Instagram and claimed: “She asked how old Bertie is, and I said he is four and she said, ‘Oh, he’s the same age as Lottie’. She calls her Lottie!”

The couple called their first daughter Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
At the time, Prince Harry and Markle released a statement that read: “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.
