Queen Is ‘Desperate’ To See Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Baby Lilibet In Person

The Queen, who is believed to ‘concerned’ over her grandson’s bombshell memoir, is reportedly ‘desperate’ to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby daughter, Lilibet, in person. 

Royal author Brian Hoey has reportedly told The Express that the 95-year-old is keen to meet her nine-month-old great-granddaughter, who currently resides in Montecito, California, with her parents and older brother, Archie.

He is believed to have told the publication: “I have heard from people I know within the Royal household she really would desperately like to see the baby in this way.”

Hoey went on to explain that if The Queen met her 12th great-grandchild, the ‘rift’ with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be ‘healed’.

In the past, Prince Harry has addressed returning to his home country and sharing the experience with his children.

Shortly after the arrival of the Duke and Duchess’ baby girl in June 2021, it was revealed that the Royal couple had given their daughter The Queen’s nickname.

After hearing this, Piers Morgan took to social media and said it’s ‘ironic’ that the pair chose the name.

On Australia’s Today show, he remarked: “It’s quite ironic, isn’t it?

“You have this couple who have been trashing the Royal Family and the monarchy for the last few weeks and they have named the baby after The Queen.”

The journalist went on to question whether Prince Harry and Markle had made this move to reconcile with the Royal Family following their Oprah Winfrey interview.

He explained: “Maybe it’s their way of reaching out, as the Americans say, to the Royals and wanting some kind of end to this on-running feud.”
