Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe, has openly discussed her sexuality during a Q&A session on Instagram.
Phillippe, 24, is best known for being the daughter of Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe – and she is often mistaken for the Legally Blonde star.
The 24-year-old has partnered up with renowned brands like Beyoncé’s Ivy Park and Pat McGrath Labs, demonstrating her passion for staying current with the latest fashion trends.
Phillippe engaged with her nearly one million Instagram followers using the platform’s Q&A feature.

One user inquired about Phillippe’s preferences regarding her romantic interests, to which the star offered a straightforward response.
“I’m attracted to… people!” she conveyed in text overlaid on a picture of herself donning a glamourous blue eye shadow.
She then elaborated in parenthesis: “Gender is whatever.”
While Phillippe doesn’t explicitly state her sexuality in the post, anyone attracted to a person and not a gender may identify as pansexual.
According to GLAAD, pansexual means being ‘attracted to all gender identities, or attracted to people regardless of gender’.
Phillippe is believed to be in a relationship with Owen Mahoney, a fellow student at UC Berkeley, and they reportedly began dating around 2019.
As they are largely offline, it’s unclear if they are still together.
Witherspoon has candidly opened up with InStyle magazine about the distinct upbringing of her children, who, unlike the actress herself, grew up in the midst of fame.
The Big Little Lies actress said: “It’s an odd situation because I didn’t grow up famous. So [Ava is] living an experience that I did not have, and so are my sons.
“We are lucky enough to have friends who grew up in Hollywood and can help give them advice on how to navigate.”
Witherspoon went on to emphasise her complete support for her children and their journeys in discovering who they are, adding: “Ava is so down-to-earth. She wants to do great things in the world.”

Witherspoon has three children, she shares Ava and her son Deacon Phillippe, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
She shares a 10-year-old son named Tennessee James Toth with her ex Jim Toth.
Just days before their 12th anniversary earlier this year, the couple announced their divorce, saying in a statement: “Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.”
A source told People magazine that the former couple are ‘committed to co-parenting together’.
