Rita Ora has responded to rumours she’s in a throuple with her husband Taika Waititi and Marvel star Tessa Thompson.

The ‘Hot Right Now’ singer, 32, secretly married the Thor Ragnarok director, 47, at a private ceremony last year.

But rumours about the couple and Marvel actress Thompson, 39, have been swirling ever since photos of the trio went viral.

And now, Ora has finally addressed the throuple rumours and those pictures.

Check out Rita Ora’s reaction to a recent rumour spread about her and her partner Taika Waititi below…

Daily Mail shared photos of Ora and Waititi cosying up with Thompson – who stars as Valkyrie in Avengers: Endgame and Thor Ragnarok.

In one of the images, the Oscar-winning director can be seen with his arms around both women, while other snaps show him kissing Ora.

Other photos appear to show all three of them leaning in for a group kiss, while another seems to show Ora and Thompson getting close.

This led to rumours that the trio were in a throuple.

The ‘R.I.P.’ singer has responded to the gossip in an interview with GQ.

Ora tells the publisher that she didn’t initially acknowledge the photos, as she thought it was ‘ridiculous’.

“I think when some things are so absurd, and it’s hard to fathom any sense of it, you just have to ignore it,” she tells the magazine.

“I’ve taken that approach for a lot of things, because you don’t want to put energy towards something that’s nonexistent.

“It’s like trying to explain something that didn’t happen means you’re feeding into nothing.”

She goes on to say that the situation was simply just a result of friends ‘letting loose’ during a hectic period.

Ora continues: “Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve had a lot of drinks and everyone’s your best friend?

“And then the next day you’re like, ‘I was talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours and I’ve got no idea who they are?’.

“Literally – that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time.

“They [Taika and Tessa] had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose. I love that. Each to their own.”

Ora went on to acknowledge that her ‘incredible LGBTQIA+ fanbases’ reacted to the rumour in a ‘touching’ way.

The ‘How We Do’ artist adds: “The good news though, is that when I was on Twitter talking to my fans, all of my incredible LGBTQIA+ fanbases were like, actually – whether this is true or not – I’m so inspired that this is being normalised publicly.

“That made me really happy. You don’t know who it’s touching.”

The singer also recently opened up about getting married to Waititi.

Discussing the big day, Ora explained they decided to keep their nuptials ‘private’.

Speaking on Heart Breakfast, she said: “Yes [I am married]. I am officially off the market people.

“I chose to keep it more private and keep it to myself more but with my new video I am playing on what could have been.”

Rita continued: “When the rumours came out is she, isn’t she? I wanted to play on it.

“I wanted to do a wedding that didn’t go to plan… that’s not to say that is actually what happened.”

Recalling the big day, the singer said: “It was perfect. It was exactly, exactly how I wanted.

“It was nice and perfect. It is nice to keep some things just to myself sometimes it was nice and sweet… Sorry it’s not that interesting. One day I will throw a big party.”
