A man whose mother reported him missing for eight years has made a series of bombshell claims after being found.

Rudy Farias, now 25, was found in an extremely poor physical state and left unconscious at the doorway of a church in Houston, Texas, US.

After being located, Farias spoke to community activist Quanell X, to who he allegedly explained where he had been for close to a decade.

The allegations made have sparked outrage and deep concern.

According to reports, Farias alleges that his mother s**ually abused him and forced him to ‘play daddy’ while sleeping in the same bed as her.

Farias had gone for a dog walk in 2015 but was reported missing by his mother, Janie Santana, after his pets returned home without him.

On June 29, Farias was discovered in a terrible condition, prompting his mother to reveal that he was unable to speak due to the trauma he had endured.

During a meeting with Quanell X, Farias and his mother then spoke to officers at a Houston hotel.

During this conversation, Farias disclosed the alleged s**ual abuse and confinement he had experienced, claiming that his mother hid him for the past eight years.

After being asked why he ran away, Farias said: “I was tired of living like a slave.”

He was asked about the alleged s**ual assault but he did not want to go into specifics after claiming he was forced to ‘kiss’ her while in bed.

Farias told a mediator accompanying the officers: “Let me ask you a question – if your mother is tongue kissing you in the bed with her n***d, what the h*** is that? This is sick.”

The mediator commented: “Based on what that boy told me, I don’t see why she’s not in handcuffs right now.”

He stated that he was exhausted from living under such conditions and described being forced to sleep in the same bed as his mother while she was n***d, essentially being made to ‘play daddy’.

Quanell X relayed the information to the public and expressed disbelief that Santana had not been arrested.

According to reports, Farias was taken to his mother’s workplace – where she worked as an overnight security guard – and kept hidden during the day.

In an interview recorded by neighbours, Santana expressed her fear of being arrested and maintained her innocence, claiming that Farias’ disappearance had not been reported to the police initially.

She said: “When he first went missing, he didn’t report it to the police.

“And they are trying to say that he might have done some crimes. Which he didn’t.

“And now they want to arrest me. Because they said I was hiding him.”

Family members and friends assert that they knew Farias was not missing, as his cousin had informed the authorities in 2018 that he was at his mother’s house, and his grandmother had even spoken to him.

The case has raised questions about law enforcement’s response to reports about Farias’ whereabouts.

Neighbours claim to have seen him walking around the streets, and his grandmother and cousin claim to have had interactions with him.

The family is now eager to reconnect with Farias and have expressed their distress over the lost years he has endured.

A press conference by the police is expected to provide further details on the case.
