A boy who went missing eight years ago has now been found.
Rudy Farias, then 17, from Houston, Texas, was reported missing back in 2015 when he was last seen walking his dogs.
Both the dogs eventually returned home – without their lashes – and the teenager was nowhere to be seen.
Miraculously, eight years later Farias has been found.

Tim Miller, an investigator with Texas EquuSearch who had been working on the search for Farias, says the man was found at a church which was approximately eight miles from where he lived in Houston, as per NBC News.
“It’s a miracle that he was found but now the question is, you know, what’s happened?” the investigator said to the outlet.
“Where has he been? Why? And what’s he been doing over these last eight years?”
Speaking to Click2Houston, Miller added: “I can’t even tell you how many times we searched and how many leads and tips came in and they just kind of faded away and now all of a sudden, this.

“In the beginning, we met with the family and detectives out there and we found a backpack. We talked to someone with a catering truck that said they saw him, then there were different possible sightings in different places.”
Farias’ mother has disclosed to ABC13 that he was found unresponsive at the church and had cuts, bruises and blood in his hair – she reportedly suspects that her son was badly beaten.
He is now recovering in hospital but she has told the news outlet that he will only respond with a few words whenever she has tried to talk to him.
She added that she understands it will ‘be a long healing journey’ but is ‘thankful her son has been found alive’.

Family members had previously said that Farias suffered from depression, in particular, after he lost an older brother to a motorcycle accident years before.
Brenda Paradise, a private investigator who was hired by the Farias family, said in April 2015 (via NBC News): “He watched his best friend die right in front of him.
“His brother was his best friend in the world. He’s just gone through so much more than anyone his age ever should.”

Houston police didn’t suspect foul play was involved, however, friends and family were concerned – especially as time went on.
“This family has been through so much,” Paradise said in 2015. “Whatever happened, a mom needs answers about her son.”
