Salt Bae, who recently left his London restaurant after six weeks, has stunned fans by revealing his bizarre method of washing dishes.

The chef, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, uploaded a clip on Instagram and captioned it: “In business, you must to know every details from A to Z, okay?”

The 38-year-old begins by throwing a plate from one hand to the other, he then demonstrates how he stacks the tray and rinses the dishes, before polishing them when they come out of the dishwasher.

After displaying the fruits of his labour to the staff, he throws his apron at them to a round of applause.

Impressed by the tutorial, one user took to the comments section and wrote: “When the owner mingles with every employee of any designation and shows how smallest of the work is done, the company will rule the business!”

Someone else said: “In all my life I’ve never seen plates washed with such panache. Astonishing level of control.”

However, other followers said the video was ‘forced,’ writing: “You know what’s the crazy part about that, that he forces, the word is forces, his employees to be in those videos and do extra things for the videos and for the establishment.

“If they don’t or do not feel comfortable being on camera they will be terminated, this guy is a horrible individual. Horrible!”

“I literally only watch his stuff for the cringe. It’s all staged and gross, and reminds me never to be like him,” added another.

Others took the opportunity to comment on the hourly rate he pays staff, saying: “Will you pay them more than £16/hr?” and: “Cool story, now pay your staff accordingly so they don’t have to sue you.”
