Sandra Bullock fans have called for her to get an Oscar for a scene in her new Netflix movie The Unforgivable, which has been dubbed a ‘must watch’.
The actor plays Ruth Slater, who is released from prison after 20 years, and follows her as she attempts to find her sister and piece her life back together.
In the scene in question, Bullock gets into a battle of words with Viola Davis.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer quipped: “Sandra Bullock and Viola Davis are INSANE for this. This scene is phenomenal like they deserve every single award!”
Another added: “Viola Davis is a phenomenal actress, got her first Oscar nomination for only about 8 minutes of total screen time but she 100% deserved it for her powerful performance.”
A third penned: “Viola and Sandra are the most one of the most incredible actresses.
“I know the way they act, they do not just act, they [are] living their roles. They are just amazing. I haven’t watched The Unforgivable yet but I definitely will.”

An official synopsis for the title reads: “Released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime, Ruth Slater re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past.
“Facing severe judgment from the place she once called home, her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.”
