Selena Gomez appears to have fallen out with her friend Francia Raisa, who famously donated her kidney to the star back in 2017.
The ‘It Ain’t Me’ singer, 30, has opened up about her life and her experiences in her new Apple+ documentary, My Mind and Me.
Gomez also spoke about being diagnosed with bipolar disease and battling with Lupus, a long-term condition that causes joint pain, skin rashes and tiredness.
In 2017, the Only Murders in the Building star underwent a kidney transplant after finding out Raisa was a match.
The pair met in 2007 at a children’s hospital visit and in 2021, Gomez said she was ‘forever grateful’ to her.
However, there is speculation the two are no longer friends after Gomez snubbed her in her documentary and named Taylor Swift as her only famous pal.
Gomez admitted to Rolling Stone in an interview that she struggles to make friends with other celebrities.
The ‘Ready or Not’ singer explained: “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities.
“My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
Raisa is also a celebrity and is known for her roles in Bring It On: All or Nothing and Grown-ish.
The actress didn’t take too kindly to Gomez’s statement and responded with a comment on the post after the quote circulated online.

The now-deleted comment read: “Interesting.”
Raisa also appears to have unfollowed Gomez on Instagram, although the singer still follows her.
This led to a lot of criticism of the Wizards of Waverly Place star and she has now hit back.
Gomez clapped back saying: “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” in response to the backlash.
According to the Daily Mail, the two had previously fallen out a year after the kidney donation, with Francia reportedly taking an issue with Selena’s ‘unhealthy lifestyle’ and her consuming alcohol following the surgery.

However, they reconciled in 2021, after Raisa shared details about the process of kidney donation on her social media.
The pop star’s comment has not gone down well with fans, with many condemning her.
One person wrote: “Sorry but if I willingly donate an organ to a family member or friend and you start treating me like I don’t exist, you better give me my s*** back for real.”
“Donating a kidney to someone is no joke and probably one of the most selfless things someone can do,” added another fan.

“I would hope that Selena Gomez is being a real friend to Francia Raisa. She owes her big.”
A third user commented: “Selena Gomez is so f***ing sick. Girl gave you a kidney and you couldn’t mention her once in the documentary? Personally, I’d actually get my kidney back.”
“There had to be a better way to say this,” questioned another fan.
While a fifth person remarked: “If I was Francia I would drag her to the operation clinic.”

However, some fans have come to Gomez’s defence, arguing that something private could have happened between the pair.
One fan explained: “It’s clear something happened between them and I hope they make up!
“But Francia’s feelings are just as valid as Selena’s so I don’t know why people are calling this girl names and saying she is chasing clout like be serious?”
