A top adult star who made $100,000 a month has admitted she only showered 37 times last year.
Aella, who was once the highest-earning model on OFs, started out as a cam girl when she was 18 as a means to earn extra money.
She now has more than 135,000 followers on Twitter and over 43,000 followers on Instagram, where she likes to update her fans and regularly interacts with them.
As 2022 came to a close, the adult star shared her yearly statistics with everyone, however, one figure has raised some eyebrows.

On New Year’s Day, Aella shared her 2022 statistics on Twitter, where she admitted to going out 222 times, taking a number two 194 times, and socialising 165 times.
She tracked her activities throughout the year using the app Daylio.
However, the statistic that caught people’s eye the most was the fact she only showered 37 times over the whole year.

This admission has caused a stir on social media, with the adult star being forced to clarify what she meant.
In one tweet, she wrote: “*sigh* I’ve explained to people multiple times but people just really are enjoying hating on me.
“I wash my genitals much more regularly than how often I shower, with soap and water. AND I also use a bidet (but even if I didn’t I don’t think this necessarily leads to infection).”
Despite explaining, people on the social media site still called her out, prompting Aella to reiterate her reasoning.
One person simply said ‘>showered >37’, forcing the adult star to say it is due to her attempting ‘not to disturb my natural skin microbiome too much’.

Aella explained: “I try not to disturb my natural skin microbiome too much. if I shower too often I seem to stink more! I regularly use a bidet and spot-wash my armpits and genitals though.”
She also added that she cleans ‘herself more frequently in ways ‘that aren’t showering’, such as ‘spot washing and washing clothes’.

The former OFs model was asked by one user how she avoids having dirty and smelly hair, to which she responded: “I find my scalp tends to get stinky if I sweat but don’t have a way to air out my hair immediately afterwards.
“So after exercise, I loosen up my hair and scritch the scalp a lot to get airflow. Times I don’t do this, I get really stinky.”

Aella became an adult star at 18 when she realised she was earning way more than at her day job – in a factory in Washington – so she turned it into her full-time career.
She would then go on to establish herself as one of the most successful OFs creators on the platform, where she would earn $100,000 a month just from the adult site.
While she has raised eyebrows after admitting she doesn’t shower, Aella is not the first celebrity to admit this
Stars such as Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Swift, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have all admitted to not showering.
The ‘Anti Hero’ singer revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres show that she does not clean her legs, meanwhile, the Brokeback Mountain star said he finds it ‘less of a necessary’.
Kutcher and Kunis on the other hand believe there is ‘no point’ to shower themselves unless they are dirty.
