Simon Cowell has revealed that he was left looking like a ‘horror show’ after having ‘too much filler’.

The 62-year-old opened up about his changing face over the years in an interview with The Sun.

He reportedly said: “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.

“Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.

“There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tonnes of water.”

In another interview with the Mirror, the TV judge admitted that he and his fellow judges ‘laugh at their appearances’ when watching back older episodes of his programmes.

He reportedly told the publication: “I love watching ‘the Botox years’. All of us are like, ‘Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… Maybe a bit too much that year’.

“You know, the old clips of us are hysterical. Amanda’s always like, ‘What was I thinking?’. I said, ‘Well, I don’t look a lot better’.”

It comes as Cowell was ‘hospitalised for a second time’ after crashing his e-bike again in January.

According to The Sun, he was ‘lucky to be alive’ after the accident, as he was apparently riding at 20mph without a helmet.

An insider reportedly said at the time: “He was pedalling along, with his electric motor on, when the wheels suddenly went from under him after hitting a wet patch.

“He slipped and went flying over the handlebars into the middle of the road.”
