Gospel singer Pedro Henrique died after collapsing on stage mid-concert.
Henrique was a Brazilian musician who began professionally singing in 2015 when he started uploading videos of himself on YouTube.
He joined a local band – who he stayed with for three years – and they released one album titled ‘Grande é o Senhor’.
After leaving the band in 2019, Henrique embarked on a solo career and released the single ‘Não Falhou’.
The gospel singer was set to perform in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro later this month.
Sadly, it has been announced that Henrique died mid-performance at a private event – the distressing incident was even caught on camera.

The 30-year-old was performing in Feira de Santana, Bahia, at a private event for influencer Lôise Abreu.
The event was being broadcast on various social media platforms.
A shocking clip shows Henrique standing on the edge of the stage and urging the crowd to sing along with him as he holds onto his microphone. Seemingly, he then loses his balance and falls over in front of his band.
Henrique’s record label, Todah Music, said that the singer was pronounced dead at a local medical clinic after suffering a massive heart attack, reports TMZ.
However, an official cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
In an Instagram statement, which has been translated from Portuguese, the label says: “There are very difficult situations in life for which we have no explanation.
“We just need to understand that God’s will prevails! Pedro was a happy young man, a friend to all. An only son. A present husband and a super dedicated father. The Christian music sector is in mourning. The Todah Music family is in mourning. Heaven in chorus welcomes an illustrious son: Pedro Henrique!
“So long, dear brother! So long! May the Holy Spirit comfort everyone.”
Hundreds of Henrique’s fans have taken to the comments and paid tribute to the gospel singer.

One person writes: “I’m still in disbelief. May God comfort the hearts of his family members. Will always be remembered as a gifted person of God.”
Another adds: “Unbelievable… May the Lord comfort and console the heart of the whole family.”
“My condolences,” somebody else pens. “May the Holy Spirit comfort the family.”
A fourth person comments: “Such sad news. May God comfort every heart at this very difficult time.”

The gospel singer’s team tells Billboard Brasil that Henrique’s wake and funeral will be held in Seguro, Bahia, where the musician was born.
His single, ‘Medley: Levanta / Não Fica Assim / Descendência (Ao Vivo)’, was released on Thursday, December 14.
Henrique is survived by his wife, Suilan Barreto, and his two-month-old daughter, Zoe.
