Disney’s seven dwarves ‘replacement’ in the upcoming Snow White adaption has been ‘leaked’.
The live-action movie, which will see actress Rachel Zegler take on the role of the princess, has undergone casting changes following a backlash.
Apparently, the seven dwarves will now be replaced with ‘magical creatures’.

In a statement to The Wrap, a Disney representative reportedly said: “To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community.
“We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period.”

The backlash all started when Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage – who has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia – said that the remake sounds ‘f***ing backwards’.
Appearing on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, the actor said: “No offence to anything but I was a little taken aback by… they were very proud to cast a Latino actress as Snow White, but you’re still telling the story of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.”
He continued: “Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me.
“You’re progressive in one way but you’re still making that f***ing backward story of seven dwarves living in the cave.
“What the f*** are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.”

After Disney responded to Dinkage’s comments, many fans took to social media and said that they weren’t happy with the ‘woke’ decision to replace the seven dwarves.
One wrote: “With all due respect to a fine actor [Peter Dinklage], mythological dwarves, like those in Lord of the Rings, are not the same thing as actual humans with dwarfism.”
Another fumed: “So, they are going to remake Snow White but there won’t be seven dwarves because full-height people have decided that it would be offensive to dwarves in the movie.
“Thanks to liberalism, seven acting jobs just went out of the window for height-challenged people.”
