Stacey Solomon has revealed that guests at her wedding were not allowed to use technology during the ceremony, so they could enjoy the celebration as much as possible.

The Loose Women host married partner Joe Swash last month and they had their big day at their home in Essex.

Speaking to her 5.3million followers in an Instagram live, Solomon said: “There were no phones or anything on the day so that we could really breathe and live in each precious moment.”

For example, she let various media outlets take photos of her wedding as long as they promised to donate to a charity that supports bereaved children.

In an Instagram post, the couple thanked everyone by writing: “The most special day that we didn’t ever want to end. We love you all and the special community we’ve built on here so so much and couldn’t wait to share these moments with you.”

Only family and close friends were invited to the wedding, including TOWIE star James Arg, who DJ’d at the reception, where it is believed he played classic garage tunes throughout the night.

The couple has married after being together for six years. They were initially friends when they met on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Now! in 2011.
