Shoppers are praising the American retail store Target for selling an ‘inclusive’ Nutcracker holding a Pride flag.
A TikToker, who goes by the username @spawnlings, shared the festive item on TikTok after spotting it at their local store.
Zooming in on the Christmas display, they captioned the post: “Found it at target, ’tis the season.”
The video has since amassed over 340,000 views and more than 70,000 comments on the platform.
In the video itself, the person asked viewers: “How do we feel about POC LGBT Nutcracker?”
In response, several users praised Target for being ‘inclusive’ and ‘representative,’ with some claiming that they’d already got their hands on the Nutcracker figure.
One viewer wrote: “Yes, finally some real representation.”
Pitching in, another added: “One step ahead of you, I’ve already bought it.”
A third asked: “I want him where did you find him?”
“The Nutcracker definitely took his yass pills,” a fourth joked.
“YASS, finally some REAL representation,” a fifth gushed.

However, some TikTokers weren’t impressed by the wooden doll, questioning whether Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, who created the ‘Nutcracker’ ballet, would have liked the interpretation.
Sharing their thoughts, one viewer mused: “Hmm I like the POC, but I don’t really get Christmas themed from the colour scheme.”
“Feeling kinda performative,” a second agreed.
Joining in, a third penned: “I don’t like it because it’s far from the classic but it’s okay.”
Likewise, a fourth said: “Honestly, it looks so forced but at the same time, it’s stunning and I need it in my house.”
