Strictly Come Dancing’s Rose Ayling-Ellis has ‘turned down a £1million deal’ with Specsavers as she doesn’t want to ‘mislead’ her fans.
The actress, who is the current favourite to win this year’s dance competition, apparently doesn’t want to enforce any non-NHS devices.
A source told The Sun: “High street franchises sell hearing aids and several firms have been in touch to see if she wanted any freebies, or wanted to get on board for campaigns.

“Although it means turning down vast sums of money, Rose doesn’t feel right accepting. She gets her hearing aids from the NHS and doesn’t want to mislead her fans.”
They added the 27-year-old is a ‘passionate champion’ of the NHS and that she does not want to profit from her condition.
The Eastenders star and her partner, Giovanni Pernice, left viewers ‘sobbing’ during Week 8’s episode when they included a ‘silent moment’ in their Couple’s Choice routine.
Halfway through the performance, the track was muted in a nod to the deaf community.
At the time, one person took to Twitter and wrote: “Just got goosebumps watching Rose’s dance. The beautiful silence. Amazing.”
Another penned: “Rose and Giovanni are one of my favourite #Strictly pairings ever. I love how beautifully they work together. That was breathtaking. The silence was powerful. Always makes me feel so emotional. For me this year, there is no other winner. Others are close but they both deserve it.”
“The silent section just really brought it home how much more difficult it must be for Rose. Made me teary, so emotional,” wrote a third.
A fourth said: “One of TV’s most remarkable moments. Rose and Giovanni dancing and then the music stopped, and they danced on in the silence. The silence which is all Rose hears every time she dances. Simply devastating. #Strictly.”
