A woman has claimed she was ‘forced to leave a tattoo parlour mid-inking’ after the artist apparently made ‘fat-shaming’ comments.
Dalina, who goes by the TikTok username @senoracabrona, has gone viral after opening up about the alleged incident.
In the video, which has been viewed a whopping 15.4million times, she said: “I need to know if I’m being dramatic or not. I just left in the middle of getting my tattoo, in the middle of my appointment. I just got up and I paid him and I left.”
She went on to say that the guy had approached her at the gym after noticing her many tattoos and then they’d exchanged information.
Dalina continued with her claims, saying: “Then I looked him up and I liked his work. And I had a tattoo that I wanted to get done all over my stomach, I want to get blasted.
“Naturally, I come to the thing and he has me take off my shirt. I have my pasties so I’m literally just there without a shirt. And then literally just my nipples are covered.
“And he just starts talking about how unsymmetrical I was, he started calling my boobs ‘t***s’. But the last straw I turned around and he goes, ‘Oh, I get why I see you in the gym all the time, you got back rolls’.”
Despite these alleged comments, the TikToker explained that she paid the tattooist before walking out.
Addressing her followers, she questioned: “Am I crazy?”
Since the clip has gone viral, thousands have taken to the comments and reassured Dalina that her response was understandable.
One said: “Not being dramatic. That was not okay.”
“You’re not dramatic, that is so unprofessional,” added another. “I would have put him on blast as well.”
In agreement, a third commented: “Your feelings are valid, I’m sorry you had to experience that.”
When one follower asked Dalina why she paid the tattooist, she took to the comments and explained that she is only 5ft 1, while the guy is over 6 feet tall. She then claimed that in his studio, there is also only one exit, which needs to be opened manually by him.
“Who’s to say that he wouldn’t get angry and possibly physical if I were to, say, get up and try to short him his money?” she added. “So I had him finish the outline and I was like, ‘Yeah, my husband needs me,’ and I got up and I left.”
Fortunately for Dalina, other tattoo artists have gotten in contact with her after hearing her story and offered to fix up and finish the inking.
