Some are wearing adult diapers to her Eras Tour to ensure they don’t miss a single moment of her three-hour performance, according to TikTok reports.
Now, we know that concerts are not affordable these days – especially a Taylor Swift show.
But willingly sitting in a diaper to catch a glimpse of the icon from a distance isn’t everyone’s idea of a good time.
Swifties, as Taylor Swift’s fervent fanbase is known, are no ordinary fans. They meticulously follow her every move online, analyze her videos, and comment on each second of her life. In short, they’re passionately dedicated.
For some fans, the choice to wear diapers isn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision.
TikTok user @therealkatherine shared her plan to purchase an 18-pack of adult diapers after managing to score tickets to Swift’s highly anticipated, quickly sold-out Eras Tour.
It’s surprising to see anyone openly sharing this level of commitment, but as it turns out, she’s far from alone.
Plenty of Swifties seem willing to go the extra mile – diapers included.
For those who aren’t quite ready to take this approach, there’s a Reddit thread where fans are discussing their chosen ‘bathroom break songs’ for the Eras Tour.
The 52-date tour kicked off in March 2023, opening with a six-song set from her Lover album on March 17 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona – the same venue that hosted the Super Bowl just a month prior.
Having skipped touring for her previous three albums, this tour gives Swift a chance to bring many of those songs to the stage for the first time.
When she announced the tour in November 2022, she described it as ‘a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!).’
It turns out, some fans are willing to wear a diaper on that journey…
