Teen’s Boss Forced Her To Write Five-Page Apology After Turning Up Late

A teenager was forced by her ‘abusive’ boss to write a five-page apology, as she’d arrived to work 10 minutes late.

Madison Hreczuch, from Blackstone, Massachusetts, had arrived to work late for the first time in a year, yet her boss forced her to write a grovelling letter in order to keep the job.

He has since been branded as ‘insane’ for treating her in this manner.

The devastated employee took to Facebook to share her story, as she couldn’t believe what he wanted her to do so that she could keep the job.

She wrote: “I show up to late to work ONE TIME. Have any of you all been forced to write an apology letter to management for being late or anything else or is my boss just insane? By the way,, this is only page one. It had to be five pages no f***ing joke.

“This was after I’d been working here for an entire year AND he said I had to do it on my own time and I had a deadline. He said ‘bring it in by your next shift or you’re done’.”

Despite completing the five-page apology before her ‘deadline’, she said she was left with a sour taste in her mouth and felt the situation was extremely unfair.

Within 24 hours, her post had racked up 2,400 comments, with many expressing their anger at the manager’s unnecessary course of action.

One said: “Big power trip! Tell him to get f***ed.”

Another slammed the boss, saying: “This sounds illegal. I would have told him NO this is not school.”

A third commented: “What’s next? Spanking? This is abusive.”

Many told Madison she deserved better and urged her to quit her job and find a place where the employers are respectful and professional.

Overwhelmed by the response, she replied to those concerned and said she had made the decision to leave the company and look elsewhere.

I don’t blame her!
