With Christmas only four months away, Tesco has revealed its 2020 Christmas food range and it looks like there’ll be tons of festive food to choose from.
This year, Tesco has definitely stepped up its Christmas party food range and has revealed a variety of showstopping centrepieces for you to choose from.
For the supermarket’s seasonal range, there’s plenty of luxurious treats to enjoy on December 25, from giant pigs in blankets to BBQ beef mac and cheese cups.
In this years Tesco festive range, there are also some delicious plant-based dishes, so that you can pick up everything you need for the perfect vegan Christmas feast.
This includes the Plant Chef Meat-Free Festive Vegan Roast, the Wicked Kitchen No-Turkey Roast Crown and the Wicked Kitchen Ginger Chai Cake.
For the first time, Tesco has announced it will be launching a “first of its kind” whole vegan turkey crown. This log-shaped centrepiece has been created with pea protein and caramelised red onions, it is served with a sweet Merlot red wine glaze.
Meanwhile, meat-eaters can tuck into a giant sausage roll “log” which can serve up to 10 people – making it ideal for Christmas gatherings.
For those with a sweet tooth, no festive banquet is complete without a statement dessert and thankfully, Tesco has created a stunning cake.
The cake is made up of two layers of moist orange sponge and layer of chocolate orange brownie, which are sandwiched together with Belgian chocolate and orange buttercream.
Although this sounds absolutely delicious, the topping is the ultimate wow factor. With maple flavoured buttercream, it is adorned with a white chocolate bauble decoration.
Yet the delights don’t end there, as once the cake is cut open it reveals a surprising centre of chocolate cereal malt balls.
These new items on the Tesco’s Christmas menu will be launching on different days throughout August, October and November.
