Numerous actors have been cast in the role of Prince William, with Ed McVey playing the Prince of Wales as an adult, while Rufus Kampa has been cast in the teen role.

At the time of writing, it hasn’t been specified what the exact time period will be for the upcoming season.

However, it is likely to cover Prince William attending the University of St Andrew’s in Scotland, and meeting Middleton.

It’s also possible it will cover King Charles’ wedding to Camilla Parker-Bowles and the aftermath of Princess Diana’s death.

During this time period, the drama could potentially explore the royal family’s reaction to wider world events going on at the time, such as the 9/11 terrorist attack.
