Fans of The Weeknd were left horrified by his explicit dialogue during a s** scene in a new X-rated TV series.

Abel Tesfaye, known by his stage name The Weeknd, has achieved success both as a musician and an actor.

With his unique blend of R&B, pop, and electronic music, he has become a highly acclaimed artist, and he has now stepped into the world of acting with HBO’s The Idol.

The ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker plays the character of Tedros Tedros, an enigmatic club owner and cult leader – whose dialogue in one particular scene left many viewers horrified.

The Canadian pop star has made waves with the provocative content and graphic s** scenes featured in the HBO series, which he co-created.

In a particular scene from the show’s second episode, Tedros, fully clothed, instructs Jocelyn, played by Lily-Rose Depp – who is naked and wearing a blindfold – to fulfil his s**ual fantasies while he watches from a distance.

At one point, he uses explicit language: telling her to ‘f***in’ stretch that tiny, little p****’.

One viewer tweeted: “I will never see The Weeknd the same after this.”

Another expressed discomfort, saying: “He definitely gives me the ick after that episode.”

Some fans pointed out that while The Weeknd’s songs have explicit lyrics, hearing similar statements in the context of the show was a different experience.

A Twitter user even compared the dialogue to content found on fan fiction websites, saying: “What type of Wattpad x AO3 dialogue is this??”
