A TikTok couple has revealed to fans that they’re step-siblings and it was love at first sight for the pair. However, they’ve revealed that it hasn’t been an easy relationship as they constantly face criticism for being intimate with one another.
Diana Camila Avila and Jordie Vena are a TikTok power couple (known as @alphafamilia) who boasts over 600,000 followers on the social media platform by sharing content of themselves dancing, talking and doing cosplay. Yet many of their fans haven’t known until recently that they’re in fact step-siblings.
The couple has revealed that they met six years ago when their parents became involved in a romantic relationship.
Diana and Jordan claim that it was love at first sight and they finally revealed their crushes to one another on a “sibling movie night”. They exchanged their first kiss and have been inseparable ever since.
In an interview with LadBible, Diana said: “We met six years ago but we started dating three years ago. We met through our parents.”
“We love each other, and if you don’t like it well too bad.”
She then added that they’re “proudly step-siblings” and that they ignore the criticism.

Originally, the couple found TikTok fame through posting videos about their relationship. Yet Diana quickly became disliked as fans said she spoke in a “baby voice”.
However, more criticism was followed when the loved-up pair revealed that they are actually step-siblings. The couple received hundreds of hateful comments and were labelled “disgusting”. Some even called for their account to be taken down.
On one of their posts, one person wrote: “This is illegal.”
Whilst another added: “I feel uncomfortable watching this.”
As the couple are not related by blood, the relationship isn’t classed as illegal.
In reference to the critical comments, Diana commented: “People are very negative about our relationship. We get negativity daily.
“It’s hard for people to understand our relationship, but love is love. It’s hard to know who you’re going to fall in love with.”
When asked how they plan to spend their future together, she said: “We are just taking it as it goes.
“Right now, we’re not planning on having any kids, but in the future of course.”
Despite it appearing as though the couple only receive criticism, that isn’t the case. They’ve found that some viewers have expressed their support of the couple and wish them happiness.
One fan commented: “I don’t understand why they get hate. I love both of them so much.”
