A woman has claimed her boyfriend has no idea she’s their landlord in a clip that’s gone viral on TikTok.

The woman, who goes by the username @jaynedoee0, says the pair have been living together for about a year.

She made the revelation while smirking in a video that has racked up three million views on the platform.

She said: “So me and my man have been living at this place for a year now.

“He pays the rent and all major bills.

“Little does he know I’m the landlord and have owned this place for five years now.

“So his direct deposits are going straight to me.”

However, not everybody was impressed with her confession and some blasted her for being ‘dishonest’.

One user wrote: “That’s so wrong, shows you’re just using him. Poor guy”

Another added: “Curious, doesn’t trust and loyalty play any part in this? I thought that’s what a relationship is based on but maybe it’s just me.”

A third warned the young woman ‘karma will revisit’.

However, some people thought the move was a smart one and praised the student for coming up with the idea.

Arguing with some of the other comments, one follower quipped: “Some of y’all just mad she thought of it and you didn’t. This ma’am is a boss move!”

Another suggested she wasn’t pocketing all the money, adding: “You guys think she pockets all that money. As if she doesn’t have to pay the mortgage, insurance, and property tax.”
