A woman has shared the terrifying reason women shouldn’t shop at the same supermarket at the same time every day.

Being a woman is not easy.

But one woman’s recent TikTok explaining yet another reason for women to worry about their safety has left the internet feeling creeped out.

The TikToker issued a stark warning to women who shop at the same supermarket at the same time every day.

It turns out, it’s actually a lot more dangerous than it sounds – for one truly terrifying reason…

Kaylen Zahara has gone viral on TikTok after urging women who live alone to practice caution.

And while there are many ways single women try to keep themselves safe, she drew attention to one safety concern many of us have never even considered.

Zahara explained just how dangerous it can be for women to shop at the same supermarket at the same time each day.

People have been going wild for the informative video, which has been liked over 300,000 times.

Other women have flocked to the comments with their own safety advice.

One woman said: “If you’re ever followed, never go straight home.”

Another added: “Also… no cute doormats outside your door! [It’s the] first thing that screams that a female lives here!”

Zahara’s video is addressed to: “All women, especially [those] who live alone.”

She explains: “Not every single college girl or young adult woman comes from the same background and same mindsets when it comes to safety and having street smarts and street sense.

“It is important for us, as young women, to get comfortable with the idea and mindset of being consistently inconsistent with where we run our errands, what we do and how we do it.

“The people that are out here with the intentions of participating in s** trafficking, kidnapping, r**ing, etc – they are looking for specific targets, the oblivious, the ones that don’t have awareness, and the ones that don’t have street smarts.

“So, when you are shopping for errands and going to the gym, and going to your favourite coffee shop and brunch spot, you are becoming consistent for someone who is tracking you.

“You need to be so consistent with being inconsistent that you are then too difficult for them. It’s too much effort to try and track you.”

She continues, advising: “You need to be going to different coffee shops all the time, don’t go to the Target that’s right next to your house, do different things. Spread it out. Drive the extra miles to run errands and the next week, don’t go there anymore.

“Then go to the place that’s close to you. Switch it up so much, pay attention when you’re leaving these places, who is following you, whose car is parked around you before you got out to go in the store.”

She concludes with a warning: “Prioritise your safety because people live day in and out trying to harm others.”

@amazedbykayy Be consistent with being inconsistent. Pay attention & dont under estimate folks. Feel confident in your awareness & tactic to be safe. #fyp ♬ original sound – Kaylen Zahara

Many women have taken to the comments and praised Zahara’s advice, with one person also suggesting: “Never keep a strict routine.”

Another adds: “Very true hun, and also don’t post in real-time online what you’re doing.”

This is so sad but necessary,” somebody else comments.
